• The maximum capacity for cooking is 3/4 of the total volume of the item.
• Position the utensil's handle inward toward the center of the stove.
• On stoves with grates, center the piece on the flame or heat source and align the handle with the grate.
• Keep hot cookware and utensils out of the reach of children.
• Before first use, wash the item with a soft sponge and mild soap or dishwashing liquid.
• After drying, grease the inside surface with cooking oil or butter, and heat for one or two minutes. Allow to cool and then wash again.
• Your Starflon item is now ready for use, with or without oil, and always on low or medium heat (never over 220 ¡C / 425 ¡F).
• When handling your heated utensil, take care not to scratch the exterior coating.
• Avoid stains by not allowing grease and food to drip on the exterior surface of the piece.
• If this situation occurs, we recommend cleaning the area immediately with a damp cloth.
• Only use silicone, nylon or wood utensils to stir food in this item.
• The handle might come loose over time due to the normal expansion of materials. Tighten the screws but do not overtighten them.
• Cleaning: Avoid soaking the item in cold water when it is hot.
• Never use abrasive products to wash the item.
• If burnt food sticks to the item, soak it in water until the food can be easily removed with a sponge and mild soap.
• For a longer-lasting product, do not wash in the dishwasher.
• For product and packaging disposal, follow applicable recycling guidelines.
